What is a domain name?
A domain name is the name of the website which can be found at the top of the page. They can be used to access a website without need to use a search engine and even navigate to different parts of a website.

Why change it?
I changed the domain name from forumotion.co.uk as it was very long and hard to remember. Although we could not get rid of the .forumotion I've done the next best thing and got .tk

Why tk and not com?
The main reason I chose tk is because it is free! We do not NEED to acknowledge that they are an affiliate. Where as .com and other more popular domain names cost a fortune! One domain name on .com can cost upwards of $15 a month, not including bandwidth.

Will this effect the forums?
No, this should not effect the forums in any way, shape of form. The only thing that has been changed is the name. Our forums are provided by the same people, everything should be accessible, etc. email:

I've found a problem with the domain name, what should I do?
First of all you need to use some common sense and figure out if it is domain name related or if you're doing something wrong. If you're fairly sure that it is the domain name causing the problem send me an email.
